Under the Bed (Digital Album)
Under the Bed is our first album, released in 2006 under our old band name and prior to Erika joining the group. It features songs about growing up and joining the ranks of "real world" people.
"Under The Bed is tight, melodic, layered, harmony-drenched rock/pop, and one of the better new CDs I've heard this year. ... Besides the aforementioned 'Fall Right Now' and 'Freedom To Me,' I particularly liked the wordplay of 'Missteps,' 'Side Effects,' and 'Monsters,' all of which are both great pop songs and lyrical tours-de-force. Josh and the Empty Pockets have a bright future. They play intelligent, well-crafted pop/rock with substance that still manages to not get bogged down in its own importance." - Daily Vault
"They’re growing on me more with each listen. They remind me of a lo-fi BNL or Ben Folds. Sad to say, but a sign of a good band for me is that I’m able to tell them apart from other bands I’m currently listening to, which I can’t say for the other indie/alternative (mostly boy) bands I’m hearing lately. These guys are distinct." - Collected Sounds
